# How To Make:

03 - Add egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter mixture, mixing until fully combined.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
05 - Divide dough evenly into 3-4 portions depending on desired number of colors. Add a small amount of gel food coloring to each portion and knead gently until color is distributed evenly throughout.
06 - Roll each colored dough portion into long rope shapes approximately 12 inches in length.
07 - Gently twist the dough ropes together to create a swirled effect, then roll into a log shape. Slice log in half if necessary for easier handling.
